Realignment for postseason

The Tri-County Athletic League voted 7-0 to back a plan to adopt just three divisions for the CCS football playoffs, that would be based solely on the leagues you play in.
For example, all 'A' league teams that qualify for the playoffs (four each from the four A leagues) would be in one bracket (16 total) and have an extra week in the playoffs. All 'B' leagues would be part of a 12 team format and all 'C' leagues would be part of an eight-team playoff division.
If the plan is passed, the new playoff format could go into effect as early as next fall. The biggest issue would be getting the blessing from the West Catholic Athletic League.
