If you believe in common opponents, then an edge goes to Salinas Friday when it faces Wilcox in the CCS Large School semifinals.
Salinas used a pair of field goals to edge San Benito 6-0. Five weeks earlier, San Benito held off Wilcox 15-13.
Wilcox did post a win this year against Palo Alto, who faces Monterey Saturday in the Medium School semifinals.
