Simply put, officials can't see the groin kicks or the grabbing of certain body parts in the heat of the battle.
Yes, it does happen -- even in girls water polo.
Who doesn't look for an edge?
Lets face it, water polo is a physical sport and is demanding on the body. But the illegal tactics some schools use strip the sport of its values.
