49er quandary

While Mike Martz's offense has clearly given the 49ers a much-needed shot in the arm, quarterbacks usually take a beating in his system, meaning they're not long for success.
Check out Kurt Warner. What did he have, two good years with the Rams before concussions took over? It's taken three years for him to clear his head. How about current Rams QB Mark Bulger?
The system may fit J.T. O'Sullivan's personality. But for how long? The guy is sitting their sniffing ammonia before the Seattle game. O'Sullivan is fearless and stubborn.
That's why he's still in the NFL after six other teams cut him. But if he keeps taking shots like he has, he will not finish the season.
Martz will likely wear out his welcome and the 49ers will be on their seventh offensive coordinator in seven years next fall.
