Former North Salinas lineman Fabian Hunkin played in eight games last year as a redshirt freshman for the UC Davis football team.
In limited duty for the Aggies last fall, the 6-foot-2, 275-pound defensive lineman finished with six tackles.
A Monterey Bay League Defensive Lineman of the Year as a sophomore and senior at North Salinas, Hunkin was a member of The Herald's All-County offensive team in 2016.
A multiple sport athlete at North Salinas, Hunkin was a state qualifier in the discus in track and field, and was an MBL runner-up in wrestling.
