Having already surpassed last season's kill total, Nikki DeSerpa has her eyes on her career mark of 347 kills, set as a freshman at Marist College in 2016.
The volleyball standout has 247 kills in the teams first 13 matches, averaging a career high 3.38 kills a set.
The 6-foot DeSerpa, who was The Herald's Volleyball Player of the Year in 2015 at Notre Dame, has compiled 812 kills in 74 career matches for the Red Foxes.
The junior outside hitter is also second in the team in digs (185) and service aces (20), while compiling 20 blocks. DeSerpa has 492 career digs.
Teammate McKinley Fox continues to progress for Marist as a backup setter, recording 88 assists in 12 matches.
The former Santa Catalina standout and 2017 Herald Volleyball Player of the Year also has 38 digs.
