Trinity-Coast Union football

Saturday's game
Trinity (0-4) at Coast Union (0-4), 2 p.m.
As competitive as the Warriors have been against teams a combined 17-2 this season, they still don't have a win under their belt.
Last week was gut-wrenching, falling 20-14 to undefeated St. Michael's. This might be a good game for Trinity's offense to get untracked.
Coast Union has allowed 202 points in four losses, including a 59-23 loss to Laton -- a team Trinity fell to 34-20 three weeks ago.
The Warriors defense continues to keep them in games, as Cameron Hill recorded a sack and had  two interceptions last week.
Signs of the offense getting untracked were visible with Alex Cabanillia rushing for over 100 yards last week.
What has hurt Trinity is untimely penalties. In last week's loss, it was deep in St. Michael's territory before a penalty pushed them back and stalled a potential game-tying drive.
Turnovers three weeks ago lead to a pair of touchdowns in a 14-point setback to Laton. As talented as Hill is on defense, the 6-foot-4 receiver needs to be targeted more offensively.
