Friday's game
Stevenson (0-1) at Oakland (0-2), 7:30 p.m.
The Wildcats have struggled offensively this season, having been outscored 58-6 in two setbacks. Its last winning season was in 2013.
Outscored 21-0 in the first quarter last week, Stevenson played evenly with 3-0 Webb over the next three quarters in a 42-20 loss.
Because the Pirates start practice roughly two weeks after other schools because of border students, they didn't even get so much as a scrimmage in before their opener.
Alex Murray and Ryan Douglas combined for 11 catches for 219 of quarterback Dylan Santos' 260 passing yards and two touchdowns last week.
Perhaps more touches will be in order for tailback Honorebel Walker, who rushed for just 32 yards and a touchdown.
Connor Adams is coming off an 11 tackle effort and a sack for Stevenson, whose defense picked off three passes, two from Murray.
Last year Stevenson jumped out on Oakland early in a 29-0 win.
