Friday's game
Greenfield (0-2) at Mission Prep, San Luis Obispo (2-0), 7 p.m.
The focus for the Bruins is scoring. Through two games or eight quarters, they have yet to produce a point this fall.
Mission Prep meanwhile has outscored two opponents 63-28 in its fast start. It has not turned the ball over once this season.
Turnovers have been a throne in Greenfield's side, having committed six - one of which was returned for a touchdown.
Brian Kowell has rushed for 338 yards and four touchdowns, averaging nearly 10 yards each time he touches the ball for the Royals, while quarterback Mark Rodriguez has thrown for 228 yards.
Greenfield has struggled in stopping the run, having allowed nearly 500 yards on the ground. Part of that has to do with the offense struggling to remain on the field.
Of course, the Bruins are also a combined 0-15 against the two teams it opened the season against.
Jaime Soto has been a bright spot for Greenfield with 153 yards rushing while Andres Espinosa has four catches for 54 yards.
The last time these two teams faced each other was in 2012 with Mission Prep posting a 61-13 win
