San Diego-Harvard has local connections

 When the University of San Diego visits Harvard Saturday, three former county prep football players will be in uniform.
 The Toreros showcase former Palma tailback Emilio Martinez and Monterey High receiver Michael Armstead, whose first reception last week was a 51 yard completion.
 One of the tight ends for Harvard is Carmel product John Stivers, a former three sport standout and two-time MTAL Player of the Year in basketball.
