Greenfield-North County football

Friday's game
Greenfield (0-3) at North County (1-2), 7:30 p.m.
Perhaps the Condors should get on a bus and drive around the campus to get into a comfort zone, as they are winless at home this fall.
Remember, North County spent the better part of the last two years playing road games. Its lone win this fall was on the road. Of course, its two losses are to teams a combined 5-1 this fall.
The Bruins have had a bumpy start, going 11 consecutive quarters to open the season without a point before Jaime Soto scored the teams first touchdown in the fourth quarter last week.
It's a starting point for Greenfield, whose defense has played well in the first half, allowing just three touchdowns.
Quarterback Brandon Ducusin has accounted for all five of the Condors touchdowns this fall, all on the ground.
Until North County proves it can throw the ball or get to the outside in sweeps, opponents are going to put nine in a box to stop Ducusin.
The two teams have had one previous meeting, that occurring in 2014 with North County posting a 27-2 road win.
