Former Hartnell College distance aces Jorge Sanchez and Eduardo Orozco are both running this fall for the University of Alaska-Anchorage men's cross country team.
Sanchez, who prepped at Alvarez, has been the teams No. 3 runner most of the season, helping the Seawolfs to a team title at the UNLV Invitational.
Orozco is coming off a spring in which he ran the schools seventh fastest indoor time in the 800 at 1:56.34 and the 10th fastest time in the 1,600 (4:23.69).
The junior is a former Hartnell College All-American in track, and was a three-time all-leaguer in cross country at King City.
