Former Herald Baseball Player of the Year David Wayne Russo has made 13 appearances this season for the Southern Maryland baseball team in the Atlantic League.
The Monterey High graduate is 1-1 with 16 strikeouts in 19 innings of work. Russo, who pitched collegiately for San Jose State, has a 11-15 career record in the Independent League.
