One of three players to have played in all 35 games this spring for the Colorado State softball team, Sarah Muzik is hitting .400.
The junior second basemen leads the Rams in hits (50), runs scored (24) and stolen bases (11). The left-handed swinging Muzik has also driven in 13 runs as the teams leadoff hitter.
Defensively, Muzik, who transferred to Colorado State after two successful seasons at the University of Hawaii, sports a .972 fielding percentage at second base.
Muzik was a four-year starter at Notre Dame, propelling the program to three Central Coast Section Divisional titles. She was also the Player of the Year in the Pacific Division for basketball her senior season.
