Producing points in multiple events, the Panthers women's track team manufactured a school record 354 points in dominating the Coast Conference championships.
The men avenged last year's loss to De Anza -- as well as a dual meet setback in March -- by scoring 254 points in a 89 point decision.
Oh, Hartnell has its share of conference champions, starting with Haley Romero, who won the triple jump, long jump and 100 hurdles. She also finished second in the 100 to produce 38 points.
North Salinas High grad Sherise Robinson, who qualified for the state meet two weeks ago in the heptathlon, ran off with conference titles in the 200 and 400.
Robinson's mark in the 400 of 57.07 was the second fastest time in school history.
Teammate Jocelyn Cervantes was a double event winner for Hartnell, following up her 10,000 meter title on Wednesday by winning the 5,000.
Maria Aceves won the 3,000 steeplechase in a state qualifying mark of 12:11.43, and was second to Leslie Oseguera in the 800.
Jack Fling picked a good time to establish a pair of season bests, soaring 15-feet-3 in the pole vault and 44-8 1/2 in the triple jump.
The Panthers distance team piled up over 80 points, with Nick Merillana winning the 800 and 1,500. Cross country champion Ricky Esqueda captured the 5,000.
Alisal High grad Rex Tomimbang won the 110 high hurdles while North Salinas alum Brandon Lepe captured the 400 intermediate hurdles.
