Girls track
1. San Benito: Out for redemption after stumbling at the league finals last year.
2. North County: Arguably the most improved team in the county.
3. North Salinas: A lot of balance in the Gabilan Division -- minus San Benito.
4. Notre Dame: Will be a much better team in May than in April.
5. Santa Catalina: Needs to be dominate in some events to compensate for others.
6. Salinas: Finding success with athletes that want to be on the track.
7. Alvarez: You can not take this program lightly any longer.
8. Alisal: Still piecing the parts together in a competitive Gabilan Division.
9. Monterey: Sleepers in the Pacific Division after a recent dominating effort.
10. Pacific Grove: Could be a sleeper team at the MTAL finals.
On the bubble: Carmel, Watsonville, Monte Vista, Soledad.
