Alisal baseball

A win tonight over Pajaro Valley will give the Trojans an eight-game winning streak, their longest in three decades.
Last spring Alisal closed the regular season with a seven game winning streak to capture the Pacific Division title.
At the midpoint of the league season, it holds a one-game lead over Watsonville, North County and North Salinas.
While the makeup of the roster has changed from last season, the attitude has not as Alisal attempts to improve in the win column a record sixth straight year.
During its current run of seven straight wins, the Trojans have outscored opponents 51-10. Danny Villegas and Sal Lopez have taken turns tossing gems on the mound this spring.
Both have also been productive at the plate, along with Josiah Ramos and Eduardo Garcia, while Kai Tovas has driven in two runs in each of the teams last three league games.
