Carmel girls soccer

All season goalie Dillan Chiewpanich has put the Padres on her shoulders, none bigger than Tuesday when she compiled a season high 19 saves in a 1-0 win over previously unbeaten Greenfield.
 Five times Chiewpanich has recorded 10 or more saves in a game this season for the Padres, who are locked in a tie at the top with Greenfield in points at 3-1-0.
 All three of Carmel's Mission Trail Athletic League wins have been shutouts. In fact, the Padres are winless on the season (0-5) when Chiewpanich gives up a goal.
 Pressure?
 Maybe on the offense, which has produced just seven goals in nine overall games. There have been no signs that it will change.
 Yet, Carmel realizes that if it can just score, it has a chance to chase a title. The key is scoring in the first half, where the Padres are 4-0 when they achieve that.
