Alisal-Salinas boys hoops

The beauty of the Gabilan Division is there seems to be a big game each week.
In this case, it's two giant games in a span of 48 hours for the Cowboys, who are coming off a 40-39 win over Palma, snapping a 12-game losing streak to their rivals.
Outside of the student body storming the court, there wasn't much time for celebration for Salinas, who now faces an Alisal squad that has not suffered a loss on the hardwood in 15 games.
The Trojans have beaten all 15 opponents by 11 or more points, including a 14-point decision over Monte Vista on Wednesday.
But the road is different as Alisal will face a Cowboys squad that is 6-0 at home behind Jarrett Edria, AJ Saldana and Caden Batista. Edria is coming off a 19 point effort against Palma.
Alisal's cast of talent includes Josue Gil-Silva, who is averaging over 21 points a game, as well as Adrian Betancourt, who is dropping in 18.5 points a night.
The addition last month of 6-foot-8 transfer Sebastian Reynoso is beginning to pay dividends as the junior is coming off a 23 point, 13 rebound, six assist effort for the Trojans.
