Alisal boys basketball

 Now do you believe?
The 14-0 start on the hardwood for the Trojans isn't a fluke.
For now, the skeptics have been quieted as Alisal sent a message with a 73-56 win over Monterey.
Alisal just isn't talented. It's deep with depth with players relishing their roles. Head coach Jose Gil plays 10 deep with confidence.
Simply put, the Trojans wear down opponents.
Remember, Monterey is the defending Central Coast Section Division III champions. Four starters from that title team are in uniform this year.
 Alisal's response. So what?
What was impressive about the Trojans is how they responded when trailing by a point at halftime. The adjusted, applied pressure and did what they've done all year -- dominate.
Of course, there will be a sequel and it will be in Monterey in three weeks.
