North County girls hoops

It's hard to get a gauge on the Condors fast start. Four of their wins have been by 57, 50, 40 and 31 points against opponents that are a combined 1-19.
 A better guess might be the two losses North County has suffered, falling by 11 to reigning five-time Gabilan Division champion North Salinas.
 Bottom line. The Condors were competitive, validating their move this winter into the Gabilan after going 8-4 last year in the Pacific
 It doesn't hurt having your top two leading scorers back in Rebecca Castro and Jocelyn Cazarez. The pair have taken turns leading the team in scoring in a solid 6-2 start.
 Castro averaged nearly 11 points a game last year as a freshman for the Condors, who have produced four straight winning seasons.
 Central Coast Section Division V champions from 2013-2015, St. Francis fell in the CCS finals last year, reaching the State Northern California Division V playoffs.
 The Sharks are off to a 4-2 start this year.
 North County has dropped six straight games to St. Francis, with its last win coming in 2005.
