The Wolves come into the tournament 6-0, with five of their wins by 15 or more points. Four players are averaging 10 or more points for Shasta, including Simer Singh at 14.5 points a game.
Whitney is 4-1 on the season, with its only loss being a 93-92 triple overtime setback to St. Francis of La Canada.
Shasta will open the tournament, facing Salinas while the Wildcats will play San Benito. Defending champion Palma will host Alvarez while Soquel and Seaside will tip things off at 3:30 p.m.
The Chieftains are 2-2 with losses to Branson and Piedmont Hills. They're coming off a 70-25 win over Hilmar.
Alvarez is 2-3 this season while Seaside got off to a 2-0 start behind Matthew Briscoe, before falling in its last two games, both to Alisal.
