Sophomore outside hitter Nikki DeSerpa was named to the All-Metro Atlantic Athlete Conference first team for the Marist College volleyball team.
The 5-foot-11 DeSerpa led the team in kills with 333. She also led the team in kills per set (3.23) and points (378). Those numbers ranked her No. 3 in the conference in all three categories.
In two seasons at Marist, the former Notre Dame High standout has compiled 534 kills. She was also among the team leaders this past fall in digs and services aces.
During her tenure at Notre Dame, DeSerpa led the Spirits to a pair of Central Coast Section Divisional titles, earning The Herald’s Volleyball Player of the Year honor in 2015.
