Dariyn Choates

Former Seaside High standout Dariyn Choates is showcasing his pass rushing skills at Sacramento State, as he is second on the team in sacks with four.

A third of the 275-pound sophomores tackles this fall have gone for sacks. Half of his tackles this season have gone for losses. Choates has also broken up three passes for the Hornets.
As a senior at Seaside in 2015, Choates compiled 80 tackles and a county leading 15 sacks, earning a spot on The Herald’s All-County football team.
