Anzar-Trinity football

Saturday's game
Anzar (3-3) vs. Trinity (3-4) at Monterey High, 2 p.m.
You can make an argument that the Warriors could easily be 6-1, having failed to hold second half leads in three losses this fall.
Chalk it up to youth as it's been learning on the fly all season. That being said, when Trinity is on, it is a dangerous team, having outscored three opponents 176-28.
While neither one of these teams has a shot at the top two spots in league, teams that finish third and fourth will meet in a bowl game.
Meaning Anzar and Trinity will meet again next week, having locked up those two spots. The only significance in this game is the winner will likely host that game.
The Warriors posted their first shutout of the season last week, as Christopher Wright returned a pair of fumbles for touchdowns.
Wright also rushed for 218 yards and four touchdowns, giving him 15 touchdowns on the season for Trinity.
The Warriors have won the last four games against Anzar, and five of the six meetings between the teams, with the Hawks posting a win 2012.
