Watsonville-Alisal football

Friday's game
Watsonville (4-1) at Alisal (1-4), 7:30 p.m.
Having already equaled last year's entire win total, the Wildcatz are back on the road after four straight home games.
Watsonville's defense has not allowed a point in the third quarter in its four wins. The third quarter has been a thorn in the Trojans side, having been outscored 39-7.
Quarterback Andrew Marquez has accounted for 11 of Alisal's 13 touchdowns this year, and has over 400 yards in passing and rushing offense.
Three of the Trojans losses this year have come from a defending CCS champion and two teams that reached their respective section divisional semifinals games last season.
Both teams run a more traditional run-first offense. Evan Delozier and Matthew Barceló has rushed for 11 touchdowns between them.
The Wildcatz' defense is allowing just 13 points a game. More than half of Alisal's points this year (50) have come in the second quarter.
