St. Francis-Greenfield football

Friday's game
St. Francis, Watsonville (4-1) at Greenfield (2-2), 7:30 p.m.
Any chance the Bruins put the road uniforms on tonight. Or at least get on the bus and drive around the campus and pretend it's Saturday.
Greenfield has been impressive on the road, outscoring two opponents 96-28. At home, it's been a different tune, having been outscored 76-14.
Granted, the competition has something to do with that, as the two setbacks are to a defending CCS champion and a program currently 4-1.
All superstitions aside, the Bruins are better then they have shown at home. Now they face another program that's 4-1 -- with its lone loss coming from a team out of state.
The Sharks came into the season a mystery, having spent the last four years playing an independent schedule. Outscoring opponents 149-7 in their four wins have opened a few eyes.
St. Francis is a team that likes to grind and go on long drives, having rushed for over 1,300 yards in five games.
Do a degree, the Bruins are similar with nearly 1,000 rushing yards in four games, with Jose Uribe coming off a career best 168 yard, three touchdown effort on the ground.
However, Greenfield gave opponent something else on film to digest after it opened up its offense last week with Andy Hernandez throwing for 182 yards and three scoring strikes.
Hernandez came into last week's game with 168 passing yards in his first three games, while leading the team in rushing with over 400 yards.
