Trinity-Pinewood football

Friday's game
Trinity (1-2) at Pinewood (1-1), 4 p.m.
 After producing a 62 point win in its season opener. Pinewood was tagged for 69 in a 35-point loss to the states No. 5 ranked team in Villanueva Prep last week.
 Quarterback Jaedan Baily has accounted for eight touchdowns for the Panthers, who are averaging over 50 points a game.
 In two starts behind center, quarterback Wyatt Hankard has tossed five touchdown passes for Trinity, who is averaging 41 points a game in its last two games.
 The Warriors are playing their third straight road game in a string of five, in which two of the drives have been four plus hours.
 Despite playing with a broken hand, Christopher Wright has scored at least one touchdown in each of the Warriors first three games.
 Trinity has been explosive in the first half of its first three games, outscoring the opposition 88-40. But the second half has seen them manufacture just two touchdowns in being outscored 47-12.
