Trinity-Laton football

Friday's game
Trinity (1-1) at Laton (2-1), 7 p.m.
Since giving up 56 points in an opening season loss, the Mustangs have allowed just 30 points in a pair of wins, snapping a 32-game losing streak in the process.
Tysen Westfall has thrown for nearly 400 yards and five touchdowns for Laton, and has rushed for 308 yards and four touchdowns.
As a team, the Mustangs have rushed for over 700 yards, averaging 9.5 yards each time they touch the football.
Changing quarterbacks last week provided immediate dividends for Trinity as Wyatt Hankard tossed three touchdown passes to three different receivers.
That in turn opened up the ground game as senior Christopher Wright piled up 128 rushing yards and one touchdown for the Warriors.
Trinity turned up the intensity on defense with three turnovers, as Brock Ray returned a fumble 45 yards for six points, and Caleb Wong and Robinson Weaver both had interceptions.
