Soledad-Greenfield football

Friday's game
Soledad (1-2) at Greenfield (1-1), 7:30 p.m.
The Aztecs may look back at last week's win as a turning point in their season, after overcoming a 17 point deficit to score the games final 24 points in beating Alisal.
Soledad started 0-2 last fall before closing the season by going 10-1 and capturing the programs first CCS Division IV title.
Of course, replacing that defensive front has been on-the-job training at Soledad. A concern has been the second quarter, where it has been outscored 24-15.
The Bruins might want to get on a bus and drive around the block before getting on the football field for a home game.
After scoring 48 straight points in a season opening road win, Greenfield was staring at a 35 point first half deficit in its home opener last week.
Andy Hernandez has rushed for 273 yards and four touchdowns in two games for the Bruins, but is still looking for his first touchdown pass.
Receiver Angel Olivas is coming off an eight-catch, 165-yard game for Soledad, including the game winning touchdown grab from Robbie Santa Ana in the final 25 seconds.
Still this is a team that relies on the legs of Emmanuel Ortega, who has rushed for over 100 yards in nine straight games, including 215 yards in last year's game against Greenfield.
