Hartnell-Reedley football

Saturday's game
Hartnell (1-1) at Reedley (1-1), 4 p.m.
It's no secret who Hartnell has to contain, and that's quarterback Randall Johnson, who has accounted for seven of Reedley's eight touchdowns this fall.
The freshman has thrown for nearly 400 yards and five touchdowns while leading Reedley with 118 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Okera Hutchinson has five catches -- three for touchdowns.
These two teams have been known to play nailbitters. Last fall a failed two-point conversation in the fourth quarter was the difference in Hartnell's 21-19 win over Reedley.
Two years ago the Panthers used a field goal with 10 seconds left to post a 23-20 win. And in 2014, a touchdown in the final 2:18 lifted them to a 28-24 win over Reedley.
Monte Vista product Devon Daich is coming off a 338-yard, three touchdown passing effort for the Panthers, who have been involved in two games decided by five point or less this year.
Freshman tailback Keishawn Robinson has shown flashes of a player coming off a 1,600 plus yard rushing season at Seaside in 2016, with 78 yards two weeks ago for Hartnell.
Freshman Chauncey Jackson has been a beast in the Panthers first two games with 22 tackles while Alexis Ramos has 14 tackles, four for losses, and a sack.
Matt Wright continues to be a demon on defense for Hartnell, coming off the edge for three sacks and a fumble recovery while Brian Grace also has three sacks.
