Greenfield-Harbor football

Saturday's game
Greenfield (1-2) at Harbor (1-3), 2 p.m.
The disbandment of the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League, coupled with Harbor's decision to move to the Mission Trail Athletic League's Coastal Division likely saved the program.
While the Pirates are struggling to stop opponents -- a region high 170 points allowed -- the offense has shown flashes of their potential behind quarterback Bailey Schantz.
The senior has accounted for every touchdown for Harbor, having rushed for nearly 700 yards and six touchdowns, and thrown for 360 yards and two scoring tosses.
No program is probably more anxious to get on a bus then Greenfield, who after going on the road and scoring 48 straight points in its season opener, has been outscored 76-14 in two home losses.
Granted the setbacks have come from a defending section champion and a program that is currently 3-1, but the offense was outscored 76-0 in the first three quarters of those games.
Quarterback Andy Hernandez has had moments with a pair of 100 plus yard rushing efforts for the Bruins while Isaac Pajas has chalked up 315 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
Greenfield would like to utilize Hernandez's arm more, as the 6-foot-3 senior has just one pick in 39 attempts, while completing 65 percent of his passes.
