Gabilan Center Meet

Center meets in cross country are often treated like glorified scrimmages in football, especially in September.
Statements aren't made in a meet that doesn't count towards anything.
That being said, you can certainly open some eyes with your performance, particularly with your time.
San Benito has been the toast of the Gabilan Division. But the continued development of the Palma program has created interest in today's boys Center Meet at Toro Park.
The Pacific Division champion Chieftains welcomed the move to the Gabilan. And they should have, as they have two of the top runners in the area in Tommy Padilla and Sam Lavorato.
Depth will be the key to Palma challenging San Benito. Not today. But in six weeks when the finals return to Toro Park. Two more meetings will occur before it counts.
