Recapping girls sports season

 Salinas had a banner season in girls sports, capturing league titles in softball, track, soccer, tennis and water polo.
 Santa Catalina won Mission Trail Athletic League crowns in tennis, golf, track and volleyball, and a Central Coast Section Division V volleyball title, opening the year 27-0.
 Multiple titles went to North Salinas in field hockey and basketball, and Carmel in swimming, tennis and softball.
 Notre Dame claimed its 16th CCS divisional softball title, and 15th in the last 21 years.
 Santa Catalina's Laurel Wong won a section pole vault title, as did teammate Mikayla Revera in the 400. The Cougars Coco Chai qualified for the state golf championships
 Pacific Grove freshman Selly Diallo became the first county female swimmer to qualify for the state swimming championships, competing in the 50 free.
