Dominic Bifano

Former Carmel High and Monterey Peninsula College standout Dominic Bifano’s final at bat as a collegiate baseball player could not have been scripted any better, as he homered in Indiana State’s final game.

The left-handed swinging catcher was also named to the Missouri Valley Conference all-tournament team after hitting .385 in four games for Indiana State, producing a .557 on-base percentage.
On the season, Bifano lead the Sycamores in walks with 33 and was third in runs scored with 33. The senior hit .230 with four homers and 17 runs batted in.
 Behind the dish, he handled 166-out-of-168 chances for a .988 fielding percentage.
