Jimmy Hill

Former Monterey High two-sport standout Jimmy Hill has taken over the Loyola-Marymount team lead in stolen bases.
The former catcher has been successful on 14-of-17 attempts this year for the Lions. Having started 44 games in the outfield, Hill has raised his batting average to .298 and on-base percentage to nearly .400.
Of Hill’s 42 hits, 11 have gone for extra bases. The senior has one home run and 19 runs batted in, while sporting a .940 fielding percentage in the outfield.
Hill was a two-year starting quarterback and linebacker at Monterey, and spent all four years behind the dish on the varsity baseball team.
