Former Santa Catalina sniper Allie Loomis has appeared in all 29 games this spring for the nationally ranked UC Irvine women's water polo team.
Thanks to a school record 14-game winning streak, the Anteaters are ranked No. 5 in the nation at 23-6. They went into the NCAA tournament in Indianapolis seeded No. 4 in the eight-team tournament.
Listed as an attacker, Loomis has started a handful of games this year for UC Irvine, having scored a collegiate career high 10 goals. She was named to the ACWPC All-Academic team as a sophomore in 2016.
Loomis produced 130 goals during her senior year at Santa Catalina, finishing with 355 for her career. A two-time all-league swim champion, Loomis also won MTAL titles in track and field in the shot and discus.
