200 -  Mikayla Revera (Santa Catalina) 25.08: Rank: 1st. Projected finish: 1st. *Note: Revera has a season best of 24.68. Brooke Oleson (Salinas) 25.19. Rank: 3rd. Projected finish. 3rd. *Note: Oleson dropped the 400 to chase a spot in the state meet in the 200.

Pole vault - Laurel Wong (Santa Catalina) 10-6. Rank: 1st. Projected finish: 1st: *Note: Wong has a CCS leading 13-feet-2 to her credit this spring.

Long jump - Laurel Wong (Santa Catalina) 17-3 1/2. Rank: 7th. Projected finish: 6th. *Note: Wong has set a personal best in the event in her last two meets.

 400 relay - Santa Catalina (Mikayla Revera, Laurel Wong, Avery Blanco, Barbara Avalos) 49.51. Rank: 7th. Projected finish: 6th. *Note: The Cougars are capable of dropping more time just on handoffs.

 300 low hurdles -- Kate Riordan (Notre Dame) 46.70. Rank: 7th. Projected finish: 5th. *Note: In her first year running hurdles, Riordan has a best of 46.10.

 Shot put - Alexa Aguirre (Salinas) 36-7. Rank: 8th. Projected finish: 7th. Sophia Lazzerini (Notre Dame) 36-2 1/2. Rank: 9th: Projected finish: 8th. *Note Lazzerini has broken the school record twice this year.

 High jump -- Dante Morr (Salinas) 5-2. Rank: 6th. Projected finish: 6th. *Note: Morr can climb a rank if she can get through 5-2 without a miss.

 3,200 - Kayla Clayton (Salinas) 12:0575. Rank: 11th. Projected finish: 8th. *Note: Clayton has run 30 seconds faster this year. And it will be cooler running in the evening.
 Discus - Alexa Aguirre (Salinas) 110-10. Rank: 10th. Projected finish: 8th. *Note:  There are eight competitors all with six feet of each other.
 1,600 - Sofie Camacho (North Salinas) 5:12.97. Rank: 12th. Projected finish: 11th *Note: The freshman's time last week was a school record.

 Triple jump - Isaiah Guerra (North Salinas) 43-8 Rank: 7th. Projected finish: 5th. *Note: Guerra has a season best of 44-feet-3 this spring.
 Pole vault - Jack Fling (Palma) 13-0. Rank: 7th. Projected finish. 6th: *Note: Fling has a season best of 14-feet. Competition stopped at 13-feet at the trials.
 High jump - Rene DiTullio (Palma) 6-1. Rank: Tied with six others. Projected finish: 4th: *Note: The two-time Gabilan Division champion has a best of 6-3. Four competitors are over 6-4 this season. Zach Rossi (Carmel) 5-11. Rank: 10th. Projected finish: 9th.
 Long jump - Azjan McGill (Monterey) 21-2 1/4. Rank: 5th. Projected finish: 4th: *Note: Sailing over 22-feet could punch his ticket to the state meet.
 1,600 - Roman Munoz (King City) 4:19.02. Rank: 3rd. Projected finish: 3rd. *Note: Munoz went to the state meet last spring with a best of 4:18.
 400 - Isaiah Blanco (Palma) 49.53. Rank: 2nd. Projected finish: 3rd: *Note: Times will drop in the finals. Blanco just shaved seven tenths of a second.
 300 intermediate hurdles - Jonathan Chagnon (Salinas) 39.43. Rank: 3rd. Projected finish: 3rd. *Note: The senior may need another personal best to hold on to third.
  400 relay - Palma (Emilio Martinez, Isaiah Blanco, Kevin Telford, Vianni Fratangelo) 42.89. Rank: 4th. Projected finish: 4th. *Note: It may be difficult to shave another four-tenths to get into the top three.
 800 - Will Stefanou (Pacific Grove) 2:00.29: Rank: 12th. Projected finish: 11th: *Note:  Stefanou could crack the top 10 if he can dip under two minutes.
 Shot put - Daniel Contawe (Soledad) 50-10. Rank: 5th. Projected finish: 3rd: *Note: The senior is capable of uncorking the 12-pound iron ball 52 feet.
