Brittany File

Brittany File became the Emory University softball teams all-time leader in strikeouts and wins this past spring, producing 76 wins and 817 strikeouts over four years.
File, an NCAA Division III All-American in 2016 after winning a school record 36 games, struck out 10 or more hitters in 24 games during her career. She fanned a season high 14 in tossing a no-hitter this season.
The former Carmel hurler and three-time member of The Herald’s All-County softball team was 13-4 this past spring with a 1.81 earned run average, striking out 157 hitters in 116 innings.
