5. Carmel: Reigning MTAL champions have outscored six league opponents 77-2.
6. Salinas: It's move to the Pacific Division this spring could be brief.
7. Santa Catalina: Maybe the biggest surprise of the season at 6-0 in the MTAL.
8. Pacific Grove: Two MTAL losses to two teams that are undefeated in league play.
9. Gilroy: Could surprise some teams in the second half of the season.
10. North Salinas: Can't seem to shake a two-week long slump.
On the bubble: Monterey, Alvarez, Soledad, Seaside.
