Rene Kausin

 The former Santa Catalina slugger has become an ironman at Spring Hill College, having started 45 of the teams 46 games this spring.

 Kausin, a junior, is hitting .275 for the Badgers with 26 hits, 17 runs batted in and 17 runs scored.

 A converted third basemen, Kausin has 10 walks and is second on the team in hit by pitches with eight. She sports a .931 fielding percentage.
 Spring Hill College is based in Mobile, Alabama and is a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
