Anderson went into her final game of her career as the national Division III leader. Her shooting percentage would have put her No. 7 in the nation among all divisions.
A team captain this past winter, Anderson actually had a higher shooting percentage from beyond the 3-point arc than her field goal totals. She averaged 7.5 points and 1.2 assists a game for the Pioneers, who finished the year 16-10.
A four-year starter at Carmel, Anderson was a three-time all-leaguer and the Mission Trail Athletic League’s Player of the Year as a senior in 2012.
