Carmel three-sport standout Daniel Higman was one of 10 individuals among 6,200 applicants to receive the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Positive Coach Alliance Triple Impact Competitor Scholarship.
Higman led Carmel to back-to-back Mission Trail Athletic League titles as the quarterback, and is a returning starting catcher for the defending league champion Padres baseball team.
