Eight teams from around the central coast will take part Saturday at 8 a.m. in the Carmel Volleyball Classic.
Among the teams competing in the tournament is SAC Joaquin Section power Bullard of Fresno, who comes into the tournament the favorite at 18-4 this season.
Carmel, who is ranked No. 15 in the Central Coast Section behind hitters Jared McNally and Keegan Forrester, has won 18 straight league matches.
Also taking part in the tournament is Willow Glen of San Jose and much-improved Palma, who used 18 kills from Nate Levitt on Thursday to knock off Christopher in five sets.
