3. Stevenson: The MTAL champion Pirates will be a factor in the Division V playoffs.
4. Salinas: A 14 win season puts the Cowboys back in the postseason.
5. Seaside: Will go into the postseason riding an 11-game winning streak.
6. Carmel: Has won 12 or more MTAL games three straight years.
7. Pacific Grove: Arguably the most improved team in the tri-region this season.
8. Gilroy: Going in the right direction, having won 16 games this season.
9. North County: Will have some momentum going into the postseason party.
10. Watsonville: Lost all four league games by three points or less.
On the bubble: San Benito, Alvarez, King City, Kirby.
