The stage is set for a Salinas showdown on Thursday after the Trojans impressive 34 point win over Silver Creek in the opening round of the CCS Division I playoffs.
The Pacific Division champion and No. 12 seeded Trojans (19-6) will visit No. 5 seed Salinas (14-10) on Thursday at 7 p.m.
"We will pack the gym and make it our home game,'' Alisal coach Jose Gil said. "We feel like we match up well with Salinas.''
The two teams will likely be rivals next year as Alisal is expected to be bumped into the Gabilan Division after 24 straight Pacific Division wins.
The Trojans will go into the game having won 13 straight games while Salinas closed the season by winning five of its final six league games.
