Darren Jackson

 Long-time North Salinas girls basketball coach Darren Jackson has been nominated for the 2016-17 LifeChanger of the Year award.
 The honor recognizes K-12 school employees, coaches and educators that make a positive difference in the lives of students across the country
 Jackson has coached the Vikings to three Central Coast Section Division I basketball titles and four straight Gabilan Division titles. He's been coaching girls basketball for 18 years.
