Over 80 players will put their high school helmets on one more time on Friday in the 32nd annual Monterey County all-star football game, slated for 7 p.m. at Rabobank Stadium.
Seventeen different high schools will be represented, with 55 players having earned first or second team honors in their respective leagues this past fall.
Stevenson coach Bruce Dini will guide one side while North Salinas coach Darren Spence will coach the other.
Among those taking part include Mission Trail Athletic League Player of the Year Will Lansbury of Stevenson, who is expected to walk on next fall at Northwestern.
Teammate Casey Mornhinweg, who shattered every single-season and career passing record at Stevenson, will be on one side while North Salinas record setting quarterback Tim Burkhardt will be on the other.
Five members from Central Coast Section Division IV champion Soledad are taking part, including linebacker Andrew Hernandez, who set a new school record for tackles last fall.Keishawn Robinson and his nearly 1,800 rushing yards for Seaside will also be on display along with Trinity's Jamez Booker, who compiled over 2,000 multi-purpose yards.
