The former North County High standout has played in seven of the Academy of Arts women’s basketball teams’ eight games this season, averaging 6.5 minutes a game.
An academic All-PacWest selection last season, Mora is regarded as a defensive specialist off the bench, having scored 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds in 45 minutes.
Mora, a four-year starter at North County and a two-time member of The Herald’s All-County basketball team, she averaged 2.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 30 games last year for Academy of Arts.
