Palma football

It's been a week of uncertainly for the Chieftains.
Palma has practiced this week with no clue who it will face in one of 12 Northern California bowl games in eight days.
Head coach Jeff Carnazzo has heard of four different possible opponents, all of which may not even materialize.
"I'm just as much in the dark as anyone else,'' Carnazzo said.
Since enrollment figures are thrown out, the Chieftains don't know what division they will be in for the right to compete for a state berth.
It's possible, although likely, that Palma could host the game either Dec. 9 or 10. The Central Coast Section asked them to petition for a home game.
The CCS is the only division in Northern California that adds two section runner-ups to the field of five teams that it is allotted.
The Chieftains will be informed on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. who they'll play and where they are headed.
The extra week has enabled Palma to heel up a couple of injured players. But if you're a winter coach waiting for your players, you're probably not to excited.
